Under general supervision, picks up contaminated instruments and instrument trays.  Issues supplies; instrument trays; rotates supplies; request linen to fold, wrap, package, sterilize; loads and unloads sterilizers; decontaminates items; washes/rinses items, supplies and equipment.  Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:  Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.  Ability to take into consideration the appropriateness and cost effectiveness of services utilized.
