Licensures and/or Certifications Required:

Current CA RN license

Current BLS card from American Heart Association

 

Education/Training/Experience: 

BSN preferred 

Five years recent experience in field of expertise

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Previous management experience preferred

Basic computer skills.

 

 

Job Summary:

In collaboration with the Clinical Director, develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care services in units under his/her responsibility. Ensures the delivery of quality nursing care to patients and their families. Responsible for the daily operations of assigned unit(s) recruits, trains, evaluates, and manages staff. Shares in budgetary responsibilities; represents department on various hospital committees, and collaborates with department heads to meet the hospitals strategic objectives.
