Reporting to the Manager of Cardiac Cath. Lab, this position will perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent

 

judgment and initiative of a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

 

Position Requirements

 

Current certification as a Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (C C T) is preferred.

 

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RC IS) is preferred.

 

Current BLS (C PR) and AC LS certificates required.

 

At least four (4) years recent working experience in a full service C ardiac C ath. Lab is preferred.

 

Population Served

 

Care provider must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient’s age group. Care provider must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span; must be able to assess and interpret data about the patient’s status in order to identify each patient’s age specific needs and provide the care needed by that patient population. 

 

Specific age groups served by this position:

 

Adult (18 years – 64 years)

 

Geriatric (65 years and beyond)
