Earn $2300-$2450 after taxes a week working 40 hours as a Patient Care Coordinator RN
Requirements:
· Experience with InterQual (Admission Class, continued stay & discharge screen).
· 2 + years in direct patient care delivery.
· Exp in utilization review/Case mgt, and discharge planning, care coordination across the continuum of care in collaboration with the physician and other members of the health care team.
· We are also the Health Plan we do not have the requirement to get authorizations for hospitalization, but we do care about length of stay and appropriateness of admission and continued stay.
· Use Inter Qual on-line and MIDAS for avoidable days.
· Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission and other federal/state/local regulations.
· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in nursing or health related field.
· Masters degree preferred.
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
