2 years L&D experience required

Current CA RN license required

BLS, NRP, ACLS & Advanced Fetal Monitoring required

Able to take call

Head-to-toe assessments knowledge of normal vs abnormal findings & reporting of abnormal findings to Charge Nurse, M.D., if warranted

Critical thinking to intervene with appropriate intervention for urgent/emergent care. Care of acute and chronically ill patients.

Basic IV skills

Phlebotomy skills preferred

Basic understanding of fetal monitoring equipment and tracings

Able to care foor patients on Pitocin, Mgs04 & continuous lumbar epidural drips

Able to circulate for C Sections

Knowledge of hemodynamics

Identifying & managing life-sustaining physiologic functions in unstable patients.

Able to scrub

Knowledge of care of a normal & at-risk newborn
